Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making the Sentrix website usable by everyone.

Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification. We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA as our standard.

Current status

This website is new and still in active development, and it is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. This means most of the standard is met, but some parts are still being completed and a full independent accessibility audit has not yet taken place. We do not claim full conformance at this stage.

Known items still in progress include:

  • a final colour-contrast review across all components;
  • descriptive text for some imagery, which will be added as that imagery is finalised;
  • ongoing testing across a wider range of devices and browsers.

We are addressing these as the site develops, and we will update this statement as items are completed and as a formal audit is carried out.

What we have already done

  • Keyboard-operable navigation and interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
  • A skip-to-content link and a logical, semantic heading structure.
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting, so animation is reduced for users who prefer it.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Fonts hosted directly on the site, so no third-party font requests are made.

Enforcement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements. If you contact us with a complaint and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the EHRC.
